Matthew Topper

As ConnectWise's Security Evangelist, Matt's mission is to demystify cybersecurity and MSP operations.  With nearly two decades of technology expertise, he's seamlessly navigated through various roles at MSPs. Having taken on diverse roles, including Systems Administrator, Project Manager, Sales Engineer, CISO, and Central Operations Director, and CTO, Matt's professional journey has been a progression from an individual technician to Evangelist. 

Focusing on cybersecurity, Matt has not only crafted comprehensive security programs but has also steered away from a mere reliance on tool stacks. His approach ensures that MSPs, whether large or small, establish a robust and holistic security posture.
 
Matt holds a Computer Science degree and is proudly certified as a CISSP, CISM, and CCSP. He's also the creator of the MSP community on Reddit, home to over 150,000 members.  Beyond tech, Matt enjoys running, cheering on his favorite sports teams, and family time.
