  • National Voter Registration Day!

    (Columbus) Today marks another National Voter Registration Day which is an excellent opportunity to remind Franklin County residents who are not registered that they have until Monday, October 6, 2025, to register to be eligible to vote in the November 4, 2025, General Election. Ohio voters who are registered but have moved recently also need to update their new address by the same deadline.

    “Accurate up to date addresses of our registered voters ensures they’ll cast a regular ballot and not have to cast a provisional ballot on Election Day, stated Board Director Antone White.”

    Below are the requirements one must meet to be a qualified voter:

    - Must be a U.S. citizen

    - Must be at least 18 years old on or before the day of the next general election

    - Registered to vote at least 30 days before the election and be an Ohio resident at least 30 days before the election

    To register or update your registration online please visit, http://voteohio.gov. Registrants will need to provide the following:

    - Name

    - Date of Birth

    - Address

    - Valid Ohio driver’s license number, Ohio identification card number, or last four digits of Social Security number

    The Franklin County Board of Elections, located at 1700 Morse Road, is open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and will be open until 9:00 p.m. on Monday, October 6 for voters to register or deliver completed forms to our office. Registrations by mail are acceptable if they are postmarked no later than Monday, October 6, 2025. Registration forms are available at our office and on the Web at http://vote.franklincountyohio.gov. Forms may also be found at many government offices throughout the county.
