Dublin Area Recreation & Health
The City of Dublin Recreation Services offers hundreds of programs and activities for individuals of all ages, from preschool through teen, adult to senior citizens. Our program and activities brochure, Healthy, is published and distributed three times per year, in March, August and December. Dublin Community Recreation Center
5600 Post Road, Dublin OH 43017 614-410-4550The DCRC is a 110,000 square foot facility located in Coffman Park, 5600 Post Rd. The DCRC is a state-of-the-art facility offering Dublin residents and corporate employees an extensive array of recreation and sports activities. Facilities include a fitness area, group fitness studios, gymnasium, running/walking track, competition and leisure pools and babysitting room.
Annual passes to the DCRC are available to Dublin-based employees through their Corporate membership. For additional costs, members may register for a wide variety of group fitness classes, and specialized programs such as Pilates, TRX and yoga. The DCRC features a 4,000 square foot community hall, seating up to 300, to accommodate business meetings or social gatherings. A/V equipment and Internet access are complimentary. Two smaller meeting rooms are available for groups of up to 20 people.
Abbey Theater

Dublin Community PoolsSeason passes to the outdoor pools are only available for purchase at the Dublin Community Recreation Center. Outdoor Pools are not equipped to sell season passes. A Dublin Community Pool season pass allows access to both the Dublin Community Pool North and South pools. Visit www.DublinOhioUSA.gov/recreation for season pass pricing, hours of operation and more information. Memberships are available to Dublin residents, and to non-residents, on a limited basis.
Daily Passes
Proof of City of Dublin residency is required when purchasing daily passes (a current utility bill, resident card - which can be obtained at the DCRC - or a valid Ohio driver's license) before entering the pool. All school district and non-resident guests must be accompanied by a City of Dublin resident and present valid identification. Daily admissions are not accepted if capacities at the pools have been met.
All patrons passing the check-in desk must present a State, School, or City of Dublin/Recreation Services photo ID or key-fob. Children without IDs must be accompanied by an adult supervisor at least 18 years of age.
Senior Citizens Programs
Senior Citizens are offered a wide variety of programming options at the Dublin Community Recreation Center (DCRC). In addition to arts, fitness, and movement, care & support programs, the DCRC is home to the Dublin Community Senior Center (DCSC). Their purpose is to provide its members with opportunities to enjoy fellowship and pursue interests in a wide range of recreational, educational and social activities and to serve the community. Annual dues are $15 for Dublin residents and $20 for Dublin school district/non-residents per person for the 2020 calendar year. Membership privileges include participation in all general and special activities listed within the monthly DCSC newsletter.
The DCSC Programming Office and Lounge are open Monday thru Friday from 9 am - 4 pm.

Youth Athletics
In conjunction with Dublin City Schools and the City of Dublin Recreation Services, Dublin Youth Athletics (DYA) provides youth participants with a variety of recreational and competitive sports. DYA is an association of parent volunteers and offers youth leagues in baseball, softball, tee-ball,golf, basketball, lacrosse and volleyball. Visit www.dya.com for more information.
The Dublin Football League (DFL) offers football for boys in grades 1-5. Adult Athletics
Dublin Community Recreation Services (DCRC) offers organized league sports including softball,basketball, volleyball, bocce, badminton and tennis.Adults, teens and youth have the opportunity to take golf and tennis lessons. Dublin’s Skate Park
Open Daily from Dawn to 11 p.m.Dublin’s skate park is located at 6565 Commerce Parkway, near theJustice Center. The park incorporates features for all ages, styles andexperience levels for both skateboarding and rollerblading. Spohn Ranch,an industry leader in skate park design and build, designed the park to beunique to the Dublin community. The Coffman Park expansion will also
include tennis and basketball courts.Miracle League
The Miracle League of Central Ohio provides a custom-designed venue for special needs children to play baseball. The diamond, located at Darree Fields Park, 6259 Cosgray Road, incorporates a cushioned,synthetic surface with base paths,bases, batters’ box, pitcher’s mound,and home plate painted on the surface. This design eliminates barriers for children who are visually impaired, wheelchair or walker restricted, or who use any type of mobile device.The baseball season runs three months annually starting in May.For more information, visit www.ohiomiracleleague.org.
Fun on the Water
The City of Dublin is committed to providing residents access to waterways. Currently there are three formal access points for canoes and kayaks in Dublin:
- Amberleigh Community Park, Dublin Springs Park and Emerald Parkway Bridge Parking Lot (beneath I-270 on Riverside Drive)
Additionally, fishing is permitted and encouraged in all City of Dublin ponds, with three parks offering formal fishing access:
- Amberleigh Park, Donegal Cliffs and Kiwanis Riverway Park
A fishing license is not required in City of Dublin ponds, but is required when fishing in the Scioto River or its direct tributaries.
